Hi Hercules group! Nice job on your logo...I liked the way you included words that related to the life of this hero. I had heard about Hercules killing his wife and about the 12 labors (which I think he had to do because of the killing). Do you know why Hera made him go into a rage and kill his family? I've always been curious about that. mrs s

Hey Mrs. S, actually Hera was Zeus' official wife. Therefore when Alcmene gave birth to Hercules, Hera was furious and determined to kill Hercules. Hera sent a fit of madness upon him during which he killed his wife and children. But instead of killing himself like Hera hoped he would do, Hercules was visited by an oracle who convinced him to become a slave. That is when Hera got her revenge by giving Hercules the task of the 12 labors.
